The screen is much better. Still slow to react at times, but the screen calabration has helped. I finally found a micro SD card reader so that I could go into the maps file and make the simple changes that Allen suggested and the GPS works great now. There is diffinately a learning curve with this model, for instance, I still haven't figured out how to store a radio station as a preset favorite and I'm starting to get used to the different menus and abilities of this unit.
One real complaint yet is the radio reception. Allen recommended getting a FM signal booster which I'll get around to eventually. Overall, I'm pleased with the opperation of the controls. The sound is a huge improvement over the old factory nav unit. I also love the way it looks, like it belongs there right from VW.
Still plan on getting some photos post in the next few days, have to set up the reverse camera and at some point I plan on purchasing a signal processer and other amp/speakers to further improve on the sound.
